Application Deadline

All applications must be postmarked on or before January 31, 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted.

 

 

Eligibility

​

• All applicants must be a current high school (or home schooled) senior attending school in the United States or have a GED diploma.

​

• Must be accepted to a 2 year, 4 year or graduate degree program at an accredited college, university or vocational institution.

 

• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater or completed GED

 

Applicant Submission Requirements

Applications must be emailed to “Scholarship Committee” at myfuture@ascendingmindssucceed.org by January 31, 2019. The subject line should state: Associate applicant, Undergraduate applicant or Graduate applicant.

 

 

Submissions should include the following:

• Completed application

​

• Official high school transcript or GED Diploma, college transcript for graduate applicants.

​

• Proof of college acceptance or current student enrollment. Funds are distributed directly to the institution.

​

• Two essays

​

• Essay 1 – Describe a influential person in your life and describe how that person made an impact on your life. Essays should be typed, double-spaced with one-inch margins. 500 words or less.

 

• Essay 2 – Describe the destiny that you hold within your hands. What is your plan to reach your destiny? Essays should be typed, double-spaced with one-inch margins. 1000 words or less.

• Two letters of recommendation on official stationary, addressing your academic and leadership abilities. Mailed letters must be postmarked by January 31, 2021 or emailed with the application. Recommendations may be mailed separately to: P. O. Box 1954, Fresno, TX 77545. Must clearly state the applicant’s name on the envelope and meet the postmark deadline.
